A13: Identification of possible co-financing sources

A special action will be devoted in assisting potential beneficiaries in finding possible co-financing sources other than national sources. After consultation with LIFE beneficiaries successful in allocating such resources in the past, a special presentation on co-financing opportunities will be prepared to be uploaded on the project web site, becoming part of the project training activities.

A12: Follow up of the completed Life projects to enhance their After LIFE performance

The action involves the collaboration of the LIFE Task Force with the competent authorities in the country for the regular assessment of the After LIFE performance of the completed projects and for the enhancement of the coordination between authorities to further facilitate the After LIFE project performance. In this respect, the LIFE Task Force will identify tasks and actions that could be supported by local, regional or national public and will promote their continuation.

A11: Enhancement of synergies between Life and other funding opportunities

The action involves the active collaboration of the LIFE Task Force with the Management Authorities of the Structural Funds programmes in Greece, in order to promote synergies among programmes for the environment. Regular meetings of the LIFE Task Force with the Management Authorities will be organised throughout the project implementation.

A10: Project planning of regional and national seminars for stakeholders involved

The organization of annual regional and national thematic seminars aims to the experience exchange, the dissemination of results of the Greek LIFE projects and the in situ support of the potential beneficiaries, dealing with the local difficulties in regional training events. The thematic seminars will be held by the Greek LIFE Task Force, aiming to promote synergies among authorities, organisations and enterprises in national and transnational level.

A9: Networking with other Member States’ Capacity Building Projects

The action involves the exchange of knowledge and experience with other national authorities running Capacity Building Projects through a European LIFE network which will be established in order to promote the transnational scope of the LIFE project, the synergy between Member States and a common strategy in dealing similar difficulties integrated into policies, economic activities and other programmes.
